It sounds like a good price--a 1G shuffle will cost 80, and it doesn't even have a screen. I have a mini and only had 1 problem with it--apple sent me a replacement within 24 hrs--they have great customer service online. (Don't bother with the apple store so close to Christmas--before or after!!) Have fun with your new toy!

Just ordered one for my sister's Christmas present. I would be interested in this answer as well. They say it goes through a stringent refurbishment process, and it does have a warranty, so I suppose they wouldn't give a warranty if they didn't think they'd at least last that time period. Also, not everything returned is a defective item, you could get lucky and get an almost brand new one. I would also be interested in hearing from people who have refurbished ipods, how do they arrive? Do they look like new, have retail packaging, etc? Oh well, I kept the box to mine, I'll just stick my sister's into my box, she'll never know ;).

I purchased a refurbished Video Ipod, and it was a great deal and it's been a great item. You can't tell it is a refurbished thing--it looks brand new!
