It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. You could offer it on ebay with a minimum of $2 and see what happens. You never know with ebay. People pay for all sorts of crap there.

A $2 from 1976 is currently selling for £1.20 on Ebay but there are still 20 hours left on the auction so it might still go up.
Given that the US dollar is quite weak at the moment this dollar bill will currently set you back $2.35.
A 1978 $2 bill in the same condition is likely to be worth a bit less.
Update: Auction for the 1976 $dollar finished at £1.75 which at today's exchange rate is $3.42.
