Yes, if you ever really watch someone eat, it's quite disgusting. I don't like hearing the food being chewed either. I can't stand watching others, so I definitely wouldn't want someone watching me. I don't care if someone sees me eating, I just don't want them intently staring at me while doing it.

Not only does it bother me, it annoys the hell out
of me. Sometimes I just want to say ''Do you
have a frickin' problem? Stop staring a me!''
and really get in their face, but most of the time
I don't because I don't feel like fighting or get
into arguments, esp. heated ones.

This was actually a hobby of ours when I was at Uni. Whenever we walked by a swanky restairant, we would press our noses to the window and stare at people looking really hungry just to freak them out.

Yes. What I really hate though is when it is totally quiet and everyone is eating and all you can hear is people eating. It sends a rusty metal spike up my back.

if they are eating with me or eating in general at another table no, if we are eating and they are NOT, then yes staring does bother me.

Yes, and I can't stand to watch OTHER people eat. Sometimes it is just REALLY gross and I don't know why.
