My ipod was stuck on hold so I popped it open to see if I could manually turn it off hold. I have to literally keep my finger pushing back the hold button in order for it to work. Is this a lost cause or can I have this problem fixed?

Well you should have not opened it up you should have sent it in for repairs by Apple. Just ask Apple to get it fixed and do not tell them what you did.

All I have to do is hold down the play and pause button...but that might be different for yours...
