Balm - Best for softening
Chapstick & knockoff Chapstick - Helps prevent chapping and soothes chapped lips
Blistex - A brand of chapstick - the white stuff is overrated
Gloss - Just for making them shiny, can actually rob your lips of moisture
Lipstick - Some can be moisturizing, but if you have dry lips, it can sometimes make it worse
Plumping formulas - Most simply irritate your lips in order to make them swell, and so it would probably make your situation worse
Buy a very soft tooth brush and exfoliate your lips. Buy something like Burt's Bees brand lip balm. All their lip stuff rocks. I use a minty balm. Avoid lipstick and plumpers for now. Vaseline can help in a jiff but tastes yucky. Good luck!

Burts Bees makes lip balms that work better then chap stick and you can get them in tinted colors. If the kids are just as chapped they also come in flavors. They are sold in most stores, usually in yellow tubes or little gloss pots with yellow lids. Highly recommend this product, I worked outside in the cold and it is the only thing that stopped the lips from cracking and bleeding. Also, as someone else mentioned hydrate.

Well see im not sure if you want actual color on, but if not the best thing i have tried so far(i live where is cold all teh time and skin dries up bad) is Vaseline for lips, you can buy it at walmart if you want butis a little white tube with blue cap. Is great and moisturizes really quick , your lips will instantly look 'redder' naturally pinkish you know and as a constant treatment it will take care of chapping and cracking. I love it. Hope it helps

First of all, I love it when guys like to take care of their lips! Okay, first of all, every night apply huge amounts of vaseline on your lips. The vaseline soaks into your lips and totally gives them a boost. It's really important to not skip a single night and if you think it feels gross, you just have to bear it up! Also, very subtly, you should line your lips with a lip liner, preferably Chanel, which is very slightly darker than your own lips. After that, slick on a gloss to amp up shine. I highly recommend DuWop Lip Venom. Hope this helps!

I used to have the same problems. Try buying yourself a moisturizing lip gloss first. I like Revlon Moondrops. It's in the lipstick aisle of your average pharmacy, and it smooths out lip lines and dryness if you use it regularily. Apply a lipstick over it that's similar to your natural lip color. That way, it will fix discoloration that happens during the day. Slick on a shiny lipstick gloss if you want to look extra nice. Revlon sells all of them, I love their stuff.

Dry lips is usually a sign of dry skin. Drink plenty of water and eat a good balanced nutrition especially with dark green vegetables. Use chapstick every day (like Carmex) to protect your lips especially after brushing your teeth or washing your face. For other tips, reference top3 beauty products for products that make the best list. See this source. http://www.beautyqa.com/ Finally, beauty is your confidence and your compassion to care for others. Inner beauty is still kissable even with dry lips! : )

To make your lips smoother and softer just use a good chap stick. ( i have found that the blistex lip infusion works well.) also dont lick your lips ( if you do) it just makes your lips dryer. Hope this works out for you!

Almond oil applied to your lips and the skin around your mouth every night will help to keep the area supple.
