Is it okay if you are a "goody-good" or a "goody-2-shoes" ?? I am considered a one. I always am given a hard time about it.

You are who you want to be dont let anyone change you! The people that are thinking your the goody goody are the ones out there getting into trouble and doing things they shouldnt be! Being a goody goody will get you far in life!

Honey I can so relate...sometimes people may call you fake or false and not believe that a person can be that good...pay that no mind and be proud of who you are...much better to be a goody two shoes than wearing shower shoes in prison!

I'm considered a " goody-good " and my attitude is " screw them if they don't like me". Of course I only think that and don't say it out loud as that would not be polite or nice. When I am thinking that, ' they ' generally only see a sweet smile emitting from my gentle face.

I now thats exactly how you feel. I get STRAIGHT A's in all my classes. Stay after school to work with teachers to make sure i'm the BEST and the smartest. And people always say "Your such a suck up" or "Teachers pet" or "You now everything and never do anything wrong, Whats up with you" But just ignore it or everything they say to you just pretend they are saying how cool you are or how smart you are. Or how much they like you. Theres nothing to be imbarressed about. You should TOTALLY be proud there saying things like that to you cause that just really lets you now how smart you are!!!

its fine. im considered a goody goody too. but that just allows people-parents, teachers, friends- to trust me. id rather keep my good reputation, because its harder to get it back after losing it. people are just jealous of how you can be trusted and they cant.

Yes, theres nothing wrong with being a good kid and following the rules. People may make fun of you and tease you about it maybe because theyre jealous or because they think its stupid. Now a days people think you have to be a rebel to be cool, but thats no true

It is perfectly normal. You just do what you feel is good and you will never have any regrets or guilt. Just don't be naive. Don't let people take advantage of your good nature. They will try. And never close your mind off to new opportunities.

ppl are always calling me that 2 and i don't know if i should take it as a compliment or an insult. it's really confusing, if people say you're good or "too good" then shouldn't it be a good thing? maybe it's on of those 'too much of a good thing' kinda things. *sigh*
