Under 'network connections' I have 'Local Area Connection' (my broadband connection) and 'Local Area Connection 4' (which is apparantly superfluous - it does not show up in ipconfig/all).

I want to delete the spare one but it won't let me. Why not?

get in to ur router disable ur Game & Application Sharing hit on apply
it will switch off that Spare go to ur explorer remove da webaddress
type in ur default Gateway ip to find that go to start >all programs /accessories >command prompt type in da box
ipconfig hit on enter then ur see ur default Gateway ip tyep that number in ur explorer hit on go oinly have ur default Gateway ip in da addressbar then hit go then make ur way to Game & Application Sharing hit on that hit on configure at da top then set it for disable then hit on apply then close off ur explorer go back to ur control panel & network it will be set to off that Spare then restart ur pc

properly in case you opt for the icon to look interior the decrease accurate hand nook you want to adhere to those guidelines: commence > Settings > community Connections then accurate click interior sight section community and click houses, then a verbal change container opens, then click the checkbox both checkboxes close to the bottom of the interior sight section Connections verbal change container. ############## perhaps this is disabled. What were you doing previously it disappeared??
