She seems to have made a good living conforming to British stereotypes of American people though. That in itself is insulting to me. The North Pole was a good idea.
Remember, British comedy is based on understatement (a cultural feature that I can't remember the origins of...), American and Canadian comedy is based on pointing out obvious differences in uncanny ways and a great deal of visual humor. They're simply different, and one isn't superior to the other.

Oh I agree - please take her away. She once interviewed Jim Carey in a plush London hotel and they trashed the room for fun, all included in the filming. Really beautiful art and furniture ruined. Detestable and ignorant.

Ruby Wax is amazing one of the few really gifted comedians i have ever seen.I hope she is here to stay as far as im concerned she is always welcome in the uk or usa.
