You're talking about DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS

AT HAND:
este - this (masc.)
esto - this (indeterminate)
estos - these (neut.)
esta - this (fem.)
estas - these (fem.)

NEAR:
ese - that (masc.)
eso - that (indeterminate)
esos - those (masc.)
esa - that (fem.)
esas - those (fem.)

FAR:
aquel - that (masc.)
aquella - that (fem.)
aquello - that (indeterminate)
aquellas - those (fem.)
aquellos - those (masc.)

IMPORTANT:
When the demonstrative pronoun is used alone (i.e., when it does not precede a noun), you need to add an accent mark in the syllable that contains the stress. Of course, indeterminate demonstrative pronouns(eso, esto y aquello) will NEVER carry an accent mark because they never precede a noun.

For example:
- Aquella casa es mía [no accent over "aquella" because it precedes the noun]

- Usa esta computadora, yo usaré aquélla. [accent over the syllable "que"]

- ¡Yo no dije eso! [although it's used alone, "eso" never carries an accent mark]

* Indeterminate forms are used when the object is unknown to you, and thus it's impossible to determine if a masculine or feminine pronoun should be used to refer to it.
