I hate pink and my favorite color is black so I wanna wear black finger nail polish but my friends say its a bad example for girls to wear black finger nail polish is that true

black finger nail polish is awesome. Pink is so cliche now anyway. I don't like the way your friends think. Get new ones if you really want to start your new goth life.

Actually, black nail polish is really in style right now, so no, it's not a bad example. It can look really elegant. Also, I'm not sure how any color of nail polish, whether in style or not, could possibly be a "bad example for girls." That just doesn't make sense.

I wouldnt say so! I like wearing black too but I dont wear it alot. I cant tell you the last time I wore it. But I think that wearing black nail polish is starting to be a fashion. You see a few celebs wearing it, and some people you see everyday. They dont have to be punk or goth to wear it, I dont think. I dont know why it would be a bad example for girls.

Black fingernail polish USED to be a statement of being punk or gothic, but now it's more of a fashion statement. Huge superstars such as lindsay lohan and Nichole Richie and Eva Mendes are wearing black. So it has more of sheek look now more than it ever has so I would say it is A-ok to wear black, especially if you don't like pink :)

No way! First of all, if you really like something, your friends are nobody to stop you. Second, black polish is very in. Chanel Le Vernis nail polish in black is being sold out in every department store. Trust me, I should know.

Do what you want. Black nail polish is very punky, skater, goth, emo, or whatever you want it to be. I personally don't like black nail polish, but I do like super dark plum or red polish, which is very sexy. But remember... it's about what you want, not your friends.

i love black nail polish...just make sure your nails arent too long because then it just looks trashy
but short black nails are really cute and go with everything!
(and no its not only for punks/goth/emo kids...it looks good on everyone)

Unless your goth, you could wear black nail polish. But im not so i dont recommend it.
