the colts were doing very good an now they are messing up big time.do you think that peyton manning can take the team to the super bowl ..i sure hope so

Unfortunately, a vital flaw has shown itself in the Colts team. They cannot seem to stop the run and the other NFL teams are keying on this weakness. It is not Peyton Mannings fault. The team was designed with undersized defensive team members. They decided to sacrifice size for speed and they are now paying the consequences. I don't think they will make the Super Bowl this year.

No way...and I say that being a HUGE Colts fan. They cannot stop the run and you CANNOT win the Super Bowl if you cannot stop the run.
It hurts me to see the Colt's defense playing like a high school team, but that's what happens when a team owner spends all his money on the offense and not on the defense.

With the defense that they have, absolutely not. No 32nd ranked defense can help them get to the Superbowl.
One man can't win a football game, especially the 'Bowl. Which breaks my heart, because I absolutely adore Manning, but he just can't do it on his own. Unless Dungy does some serious off season defense changing, it's looking like Manning might become the next Dan Marino :(
There is always some part of me still hoping for a miracle though :)

its possible, but they need to stop the run on the defense. this team plays awful defense. how are they going to make the super bowl if they cant even win games in their division. this team will be lucky to win a playoff game. its looking wide open right now, but i think san diego or baltimore have the best chance of playing in the super bowl.

They won't make it. Not only do they have to contend with the fact that they cannot stop ANYONE from running all over them. But Peyton Manning has yet to shake that choker moniker monkey off his back and will be carrying that pressure with him into the playoffs.

no, doesn't matter what peyton does. there's only so much a QB can do if his defense can't stop the run...even a QB like peyton.
