I like to go eat and to movies. I'm very socialize, and enjoy spending time with family and friends. But I have found I enjoy my time at home more. I like watching movies and working around the house more than I like going to eat and to movies. I also noticed that when I do want to go to movies or to eat, I prefer to go when it is less crowded or I prefer to sit near the back at all possible. Also whenever I go to church, I enjoy sitting in back. It just makes me comfortable. Is this called something when people are like this? It just seems I don't enjoy doing what everyone else is doing. Some of my friends like traveling, partying and being on the go all the time. I'm totally opposite. I just don't like the big crowds or the noise. I am just easy going who doesn't need a lot of stuff or to be doing a lot to make me happy. I'm okay with this, but I was wondering if this is characteristics of a homebody?

I was raised in the country and I think that has something to do with it?I like people but like my self and interests better? I am content with my own company ?my wife says? she loves to shop and travel! must be some truth to opposites attract? you are perfectly normal!!

I am exactly like you! I like going out too but not at peak hours and I don't like crowds. I'm okay with it too, and I would consider myself a homebody (even though I do like being with friends) so I would say you are too! Some people constantly want to be out doing things but I'd usually just rather be at home!

no, my thought on that is you are just being yourself, just because you don't want to party doesn't make you a strange person. i commend you for not wanting to party. my partying got me into big trouble and now i'm a recovering addict. i did things to be accepted by others and not what i should have done. i hope this makes sense to you. :)
