Toss-up between Cesc Fabregas and Xabi Alonso. Maybe in a year or 2, it'll be Cesc because he is still young, improving, and learning all the time.

I really think Xabi. But when Luis Garcia is in the zone he looks like the best player in the world. Too bad it only happens a few times a season. But the midfield goal eariler this year by Xabi tilted my vote towards him.

he still the best for me, i have watch him since he played for Sociedad, and he proved that he's one of the best mid-fielder in the world =)
Xabi have almost complete skills, he able to help the attack and very good when it comes to defend.
Well, don't forget that Xabi have amazing kick...if i'm a portero maybe i will thinking twice to catch the ball ha ha ha
