no its not funny its sickening. I personally use this as a forum to spread my ultra-left-wing, liberal, anti-christian agenda. So I'm like as bad as anybody.

It is also funny how some people go out of their way to say what the person wants to hear...
I wouldn't say most askers, but there are some who do do that. I try to say it as it is... Based on facts. Sometimes I throw in some humour. However sometimes I find people just don't catch the humour... There was a question I answered about the burial site of Mary Magdalene based on two FICTIONAL books... I stated that I personally would not trust either of those sites as her resting place, and I got two thumbs down. Fortunately, the asker sent it to vote by general public, and more people seem to agree with me.

I don't. I pick funniest answer, or most creative. Who cares if you gave the right answer, so did ten other people. but did you put effort into your answer? come up with something that made me laugh out loud? those are what I'm here for. i want to be entertained. and most of my questions aren't that serious anyways.

Yes, that seems to be the way. I think people are generally like that anyway. It's like the conspiracy theorists, if they believe in a thought or idea, they search out people or information that will corroborate the idea.

obviously they are going to select what they wanted to hear...isnt that the obvious thing to do? why would you choose an answer that you totally disagree with and doesnt provide a practical answer to your question?

and if they don't like your answer they will violate you like it really means something. most can take a joke or just blow it off. but some people think they are all right.
