Seriously, the guy's an egotistical coke fiend and he's working on tv? What did he do?

He's entertaining, albeit uninformed and bombastic. He's like a trainwreck that people cannot help but look at. On the plus side though, there's lots of idiots like him on TV.

What did he do??? He helped the Cowboys win 3 Superbowls! Irvin was one of the greatest all time receivers in the NFL. As with many players, fame and fortune often brings drugs and decadence. He has since cleaned up his act. Besides, there are a lot worse on TV.
Don't be too judgmental; check your own closet, I bet there's a few skeletons in there.

He's a racist, too. Always banging on whitey, covering for jerks like TO. You hear what he said about Tony Romo? Said Romo's grandma must have banged a slave to have the family produce that talented an athlete. If a white guy said anything like that, he'd be fired immediately.
