My favorite fable was the one by Dr. Suees with the Lorax and all the trees that get cut down. "I am the Lorax I speak for the trees
the trees have no voices......."

I think the moral of that was not to be wasteful even of a thing that you think there is plenty of cause at the end there were no more trees
