Yes, that's normal. When you are on birth control pills, you don't actually have a natural period, you have what is called a withdrawal bleed. You only get the withdrawal bleed when the level of hormones in your body drops (when you take the sugar placebo pills, or stopping taking the active pills).

Yes it's normal. Your body is no longer being tricked into thinking it is pregnant when you stop the pill, so it's like you lost a baby but you only get spotting insted. You might get your period early. Often your periods will be irregular for a while after you stop the pill.

You stopped taking them before you were suppose too thats why your period started earlier. Had you continued through the cycle of pills, your period would have started when the 1-21 day pills were finished.

Totally normal.

In fact, your periods can be a bit "off" for up to 3 months after you've taken birth control (because the hormones can stay in your system for quite some time - not enough to give you birth control protection, but enough to throw your body off)

I don't know how normal it is but I've experienced the same problem in the past as well as my 26 year old daughter. My Gyno told me not to worry. The pill sometimes regulates your periods and when you stop taking them your body reacts to thinking your menstruating again. But to be on safe side please call your Gyno or family Dr.

SO WHY DID YOU STOP THEM IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR CYCLE. THAT COULD BE THE REASON FOR THE PERIOD. CHECK WITH THE DR. TOMORROW.
