The Bible is not the same as the Koran.
BIBLE: 66 separate books written over coupla thousand years which describe God's plan for the world. All the books are in sinc in terms of describing the character of the deity, the fulfullment of things said to happen in the future, and stuff like that. And all the precepts are applicable in any culture and any era.
KORAN: written as far as I know (I am not the student of the Koran as I am of the Bible) by Mohammed, in about 600 AD. He alone wrote it, and many memorised it later.
The Bible has been found to be the truth about life by thousands and millions of students/believers, who have based their lives upon the precepts in it, and been willing to die in persecutions rather than recant.
ORIGINAL languages were Hebrew, (Old Testamant of Bible) and Aramaic (New Testamant of Bible) and the Koran was written in Arabic.
Hope this helps. I have set my sights on the belief in the Bible and found that my fear of death is GONE, since I know that I will spend eternity in heaven. No one has returned from heaven to tell us what it is like, but we are allllllll going to die, no exceptions made, and God in the Bible explains that it is a good place with no evil there. I am looking forward to death, - not the actual dying, - but the eternity in God's presence.

For your rationalization,the verses don't say that the moon is a gentle in midst of whatever. Here are a couple of translations: Do you now not become aware of that GOD created seven universes in layers? He designed the moon therein to be a gentle, and located the solar to be a lamp. -Khalifa See ye now not how Allah hath created seven heavens in concord, And hath made the moon a gentle therein, and made the solar a lamp ?-Pickthal Do you now not see how Allah has created the seven heavens ,~ one above one other, And made the moon therein a gentle, and made the solar a lamp?-Shakir There isn't any contradiction due to the fact that the verse isn't as you are saying it's. --------------------------------------... Therein,signifies that its there,it doesnt supply a special factor or position.Its an overly specific declaration to mention "within the midst".Use what you recognize approximately the way in which the universe works to determine the context.

im answering this to make a few correction to thisbrit statement about quran. quran is not written by mohammad, but passed down to him by god himself about what he should spred to the world. I've got proof that quran is real;
the world discovered about the functions of the fingerprints in the late 19th century, but it was written in the quran way, way before that.
"Yes, we are able to put together in perfect order the very tip of his fingers."
(Quran 75:3-4)

Can you not ask your preacher, priest or rabbi or other religious leader this question?
Start with them because they are the experts.
