Can you use your phone with no minutes on your pre-paid phone?

I have a Cingular GO Phone and one day i was in school and i sent a text just to play with my phone knowing it wasnt going to send and it sent and i believe it sent because it was friday(weekend) wat do u think?

I think it was a fluke, maybe thier server was down. I know my cellular company was having problems one day and I talked for free that whole day, my minutes never moved. Do you by chance have free texting? That would explain it too.

i think it was probably sent becuz it wuz a weekend, but theyll probably charge u for it.
