It is not OK for anyone to cheat on someone. Women will put the blame on no romance or no excitement in the marriage well it takes two to do that as well. Do not put the blame on someone that cheats on you because they will have be the one to come forward and tell the spouse that what they need and how they feel. If they are not getting what they want why don't they just divorce the spouse and then move on.

Simplistically, a defense mechanism. But not always. Sometimes the woman (or man) needs something they aren't getting out of the primary relationship. Yet, that's a rather destructive option, IF it's possible to talk with the other about what's missing. If not possible, or whatever is lacking can't/won't be resolved, just move on. Many women, & men, have deep psychological reasons for having affairs. & some have absolutely none but to satisfy their desires, without a care in the world about how they may hurt or anger the other. I don't believe you should have made such an "absolute" statement.

There are unfaithful women who put the blame on themselves and not just those who blame their faithful partners! I think it's really lame when a cheating person places the blame on someone else instead of taking the responsibility. It's really manipulative and very immature. Not worth wasting time on, either.

to blame someone else for one's choices, is not a gender thing, they all do that when they cheat, so to be able to justify to themselves that they were right with their decision to cheat. they find falt with their spouse and lay all the blame so they won't have to be accountable to anyone, it is a shut and closed case, with no negotion, no nothing, and they are not going to take any blame, if they did, than they would have to rethink what they were doing and mabey work on their marriage instead of cheat. just a cop out, a defense mechanism, just a reason to do what is wrong, and too much of a coward to own up to it, easier to blame it all on the other guy.

The guilty party will blame the other partner for infidelity when they are the one who cheated. Human Nature!
By the way, its not right for either in a marriage to cheat with another.

You didn't give enough info. Do you pay attention to her? Do you hate sex? Do you have conversations with her and listen? Cheating is flat out wrong but I'm sure you played a bigger role in your situation. If she has always been a cheat you are to blame for hooking up with her.

It depends on if the man/husband cheated first. Then that gives most women a good enough reason to do the same. You seem to be way to easy going especially if you let your wife go see her out town "friend" twice.

They don't think it's okay and they don't put the blame on you. What kind of women do you date, anyway?

Woman cheat because of emotional needs. Men cheat for the physical act (sex). Men apparently quit showing love to their spouse and she up and finds someone else who will love her. This means its all the mans fault.
