Hi. I went to maui last summer. Ask the event and activities planner at your hotel ahead of time. I stayed at the Palms of Wailea and theres cost arounf 50-70 a person. If you are looking for great food go to this one but if you are more intersted in dancing and a great show go to the one at the Reinescence. (I can't spell) in maui. They also have a really nice bar andphoto service.

My friend. Luau's in Hawaii are plentiful. Some are simple while others can be extravagant. I can promise you this though. The Hawaiian people love to entertain and they know how to put on great shows!. So, no matter where you choose, you are sure to have a great time. Here are some of the better ones around. Just depends on how much your willing to spend,
Royal Lahaina Luau $52.99
Makena Beach Front Luau/Maui $72.99
Wailea Finest Luau $72.99
Drums of the Pacific Luau $79.99
This is one of the best ever. It is held at the Hyatt Regency on the beach of Kannnapali.

I live in hawaii. Forget the waikiki luaus. They are all junk. Want to go to the best luau it's Paradise Cove. They have great ceremonies, food and drinks. They also have a great view of the ocean and local style arts and crafts where they teach you to make leis before the luau starts. It's in ko'olina and a bit of a drive from honolulu. I think it's 60 dollars per person.

We were in Kauai for the month of November and went to Smith's Tropical Paradise laua in Kapa'a. They have lauas about three times a week. The food was very good and the entertainment was awesome! The cost is about $55 each person. Enjoy - we loved Kauai and can't wait to go back!

I was in Hawaii a couple of years ago and went to a luau. I simply went to one of the tourist booking agents and there are many in the hotel district. We went on a tour that included the laua and the cost for everything was about $260 . Note, we went to the Polynesian village show which was also included in the total cost as well as all the food that day. We left I think about 10:00 a.m. and got back to the hotel around midnight.
With everything included, it was a bargain.
