Ok well the difference is that I heard the english versions cut out a lot of the show......which i can tell b/c the jap has 18 videos and the eng doesn't even have half of that.....If your a fan of the show which should i get? i've alreday watched most of the eng. version but should i watch the jap. to get the whole story? (you see bits and pieces that you have no idea where they came from in the eng. version)

I used to watch the English version when i was about 10 now that i am 15 i have watched the English and the Japanese version and i have to say that the Japanese version is much better. the English version cuts out loads of the story and the romance but in the Japanese version there is more episodes and it is much better and a better plot. Also read the Manga that is amazing too. there are about 70 episodes and 2 movies definitely get the Japanese version

There is a different. Cardcaptors is the english version name of Card Captor Sakura the original japanese name of the series. The difference is yes alot of scenes were cut out and dialouge was changed to suite american audiences. So if you wanted to see the real story and not miss anything you'd have to watch the uncut/japanese versions of cardcaptor sakura
So stick with the uncut versions to enjoy the story.

I cherished Cardcaptors on the start, yet then I observed Cardcaptor Sakura and that i cherished it plenty extra beneficial. it somewhat is merely like Karin and Tokyo Mew Mew: the English version isn't something while in comparison with the jap version!

Go on youtube.com they have episodes their.Type in Card Captor Sakura.
In the jap they have like 60 something episodes.
Look for the jap,they have it with english subtitles.For some of the episodes you'll have to look for them.
Card Captor Sakura is the Jap name
Carrdcaptors is the english name.

Get the japanese one! I think that one has more episodes cause ive seen all of them on youtube. Yes they are in japanese but they have english subs and also you can learn a new foreign language! And the japanese one makes the show a little romantic compared to how they make it in the english version.

besides cutting out alot of the story im pretty sure they toned down the romance side quite a fair bit so if you enjoy that kind of thing and are confused over certain parts of the story the japanese (uncut) version is for you. i personally prefer it too because i like the japanese voices to the english dubs.

now my cuzin has the 1 in japanese and english subtitles. i would say get the 1 in english so u can understand them! (unless the japanese 1 has english subtitles) The 1 my cuzin has is Cardcaptor Sakura....
