You could always get a gift bag and put several different things in, bottle of wine, chocs, smellies, a puzzle, gloves etc.
I do this for my kids and others in my family. I put things like chocs, smellies, silly socks, puzzle book and pen, chocolate coins, mini teddies, key rings fancy note books, small hand held electronic games.
they don't need to cost a lot and you could get plenty ofr £10.

i know this sounds really boring but their are some good novelty gifts at BHS i had to get out of the rain and found loads of fun stuff in there,or bargain booze sales start on Thursday hope that's use-full,lol.

Usually I get a gift card to a popular store since it can be hard to buy something for someone you may or may not know well.

it depends on the person, i find that something from the joke shop usually goes down well especially if your giving out the gift's hen out having x mas drinks.
