Start looking for an attorney, privately. Chances are she already has one-she is waiting on you. Make sure you know where the money is. Protect yourself. Pay more attention to the money and credit slips. Start dumbing your life down. Don't buy new cars or houses or things only the two of you could afford. Try not to be suspicious but don't be a fool either. If she leaves you a clue take it. If you see charges for hotels that you or her never stayed in that is a clue. Don't be the last one to know. If she wants to go visit a friend then you ought to be able to go to. If you can't she can't. It's not a matter of trust, but respect.

There are many questions to be answered before this situation is acceptable. If the Dude is single, the the wife went to get laid. If she was mine and told me she was going to visit this guy then she would have to take all her belongings with her for a l....o....n....g stay. How many times has she met him behind your back? You don't know. This marriage would be on very shaky ground if it was mine.

HELLOOOOOOO WAKE UP , What kind of man puts up with this kind of nonsense. I say its not good period. Do you think she has any respect for you for putting up with this kind of horsing around. You may as well lie down and let her walk on you. You haven't got a marriage. Sorry, you don't want to grow old with that.

Is she cheating on you, or is this just a friend?
Why do you say it's not good? Maybe it is.

I would say it is not good for you. What does she say about it? Do you know this friend and why is she going to see him? You must put your foot down an tell she is not to go anymore if she fights you on it then she is doing something with him.

i know if my husband wanted to go see another female out of town it better be his mom or sis (ya know what i mean) a relative. you know her better than you probably know yourself. wake up son. it's not to late. but there shouldn't be anymore visits. if she loves and RESPECTS you ,she will listen to how you feel and set her friend aside. if she doesn't there's more than a friendship going on there. and it's time for you to have a out of town friendship, or better yet and in town friendship,one with mutual respect and friendship.

It does sound out of sorts. It is possible for men and women to be friends, but if these trips were "overnight", I'd definitely be bothered. Why don't you BOTH go visit him?

Did you go with her? Did you know she was leaving to visit him? Insert yourself into the next visit or tell her you don't fell comfortable with her doing that.
If she puts up a fuss tell her that one is not on the to do list!
