If my aunt will by me a rodriguez guitar from south america should i take it is it a good guitar? All i know is its expensive and my guitar teacher has one and she won't let anyone hold it what so ever

They look like some good guitars, but you can never actually tell how good a guitar is until you can play it. The site seemed pretty basic and didn't give much information but it did say the guy only makes about 15 guitars a year. I'd say a guitar is a guitar, and if it's a gift for you then good ahead with it!

Also, check out their site (below) for anything else and check out the gallery, that was pretty interesting to see some of his guitars and how they can come out.
