OJ, a black man (ex-football player and movie star) was investigated and tried in a court of law for the murder of two caucasions. A jury evaluated the evidence and found him "not guilty"- here's a few things they may have considered: After leaving the crime scene (OJs ex-wife home) a caucasion investigator went to the defendant's house and claimed that he found a glove/w blood - previously recorded tapes of this investigator was played in court and the jury heard him making many statements highly derogatory about blacks - he later committed perjury in court. Another caucasion investigator testified in court that he took a vial sample of OJ's blood from the lab and took it INTO the crime scene.
The "found" glove DID NOT fit OJ's hand (wrong size). There never was the amount of blood on OJ's body, clothes, house or car CONSISTENT with someone who had committed that crime in person. The murder weapon was NEVER connected to him or found. The jury was taken to visit OJ's house and DID NOT see the rumored large blood trail. There were no witnesses to the actual crime. Likely the jury found him innocent because there was a LACK of real evidence to convict.
Some may disagree with the verdict but it's unfair to state with absolute certainty that this man is guilty.

OJ has always maintained his innocence and recently wrote a book in which one chapter "If I Did It" is hypothetical and labeled fiction, likely a great part of the book is defending himself against false allegations.

Originally he was a legend in the NFL. He was a young man who overcame physical adversities. He was a complete Hall of Famer. He dabbled in some small acting and seemed to be very successful.
About 13 years or so ago...his estranged wife showed up murdered along with one of her friends. Next thing you know OJ is on every news channel across the nation in a (slow) high speed chase. Of course, at this time he is completely evading arrest. So anyway...he goes in...is tried on the murder of Nicole Simpson and her friend and strangely enough is completely acquitted. There is huge controversy on whether he did it or didn't do it. I personally think that yes he did it. But he was tried and found not guilty. So in a nutshell that is what the big deal on OJ is.

OOOps he was acquitted, wasn't he. That was a joke!
