I am tired of always going to Outback, Fridays, Applebees, and just regular little Italian places....any suggestions on new foods/places I should eat/go? I don't eat fast food.

On a low budget I love Asian food, the healthiest alternative being Vietnamese, But Thai food, Indian food and Chinese foods are all delicious. On a higher budget, french cooking can be so "Ooo la la..." Ask around to know which ones are the best in your area. on apetit!

Try some local (non-chain) places or some different kind of ethnic other than just Italian. If you like spicy food, Korean is great. How about Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, etc.? Be adventurous.

fridays applebees and chilis? those are fast food too. Its the same greasy, prefab cuisine : the only difference is they charge you more and youre beind served.
Try independantly owned restaurants that are more likely to have " homemade" type options. Wholefoods markets sell prepared foods that are healthy and often organic.

Waffle House is kind of stupid fun. I like the pecan waffle or the bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on raisin toast. But it might be too fast for you. For something a little slower but also fun and GREAT RIBS, Texas Roadhouse can't be beat. And of course there's my personal favorite -- some local independent greasy spoon!

If they have one around where you live, try Claim Jumper. Their prices are around what Outbacks prices are, and their food is absolutely amazing. They have something for everyone and I've never had a bad meal there.

Do they have an "Olive Garden" there? What about hitting a Chinese place for a change? Is there a "99" restraunt there? Maybe you should just save your money.
