a laptop. and a makeover ( new hairstyle, wardrobe (clothes, shoes and accessories) and bedroom decor)
Then buy a new software and learn a new language.
You can still leave $1800 to go on an Alaskan cruise. Its FUN!!!

Well, that's a lot to just dump on yourself for the heck of it. Why not find a good charity to donate some of it to, use some to take some good friends and family out to dinner and use the remainder on yourself? I think spreading it out on charity, good memories and something you need will give you more joy than dropping $4000 on something that you are so unsure of that you have to ask us what to buy with it.

If I had 4 grand to spend, I wouldn't. I'd buy her a few nice presents, saving at least 3,500 for investing. But that's me. I'm not like the other 98 percent of the population who can only think about how to spend money.

The coolest thing you could get for yourself is selflessly giving a part of it to someone else. You'll be surprised at how good it feels to help somebody in need.

If you do not know what you want, how could you get it? I would say put the money into a interest baring Bank Account, until you decide what you want. Have a Merry Christmas, and remember, Jesus is the reason for the Season

I would put 2000.00 in some sort of savings, like CD or an IRA. somewhere to earn you some more money. Then I would spend the rest on whatever it is you have been wanting to get,but were unable to afford. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Open an IRA for yourself with $2000. It grows every year and gives you a tax break, too.
Buy one gift for yourself. Then be generous and adopt a needy child for Christmas.
Bank the rest for a rainy day.
