I do not know how to answer your question, as the USA did not issue any stamps in 1906. What color is it? What does the picture show? The two-cent stamp issued in 1904 with a picture of Thomas Jefferson, printed in red, catalogues for $27.50 if in perfect condition and not used, or $1.75 if in perfect condition but used. Stamps actually typically sell for less than half their catalogue value.

You'd have to find a stamp collector for that stamp to be worth anything. I've heard of some paying hundreds of dollars for an antique stamp like that.

Not being one though, I wouldn't know how rare the one you have is and how much it'd cost.

Postage stamps dont seem to increase in value as they age.
