Ah, this is what is commonly referred to as a time slip. This is when a time loop interferes with another time loop and thus literally adjusts the time frame of existence forward or back either a millisecond or centuries.

There have been stories, and here's one I read in a book. This man and his wife were walking with their friend whom they have just visited down the street. They were walking then all of a sudden the wife stops and stares around for a little bit, say a minute. According to her, she was back in what appreared to be 15th century France and she was dressed in a nun's clothes, and people were greeting her and she responded, all in French.

This is also the proof of past lives, who you were hundreds and thousands of years ago. Reincarnation.

OK i know it wasn't day light savings.

so you both must have been wearing digital watches. and the changing of the time was do to the position you and your friend were. sooo now your lost. OK . ill help that.

time zones + the location you are will affect the time shown on your watches. now from what i have given you maybe you can piece it together.
