don't know about Conn, but Florida has made the rider leave the bike on the side of the road. Having your bike picked up by a wrecker is not a pretty site.

if the cop is nice you get a warning and are told to take the bike home or get it towed home
if the cop is normal you get a lot of tickets, possible loss of car drivers license, impounded bike, and possibly a free ride in a police car

that would depend on what you were doing at the time. but it's probably not as bad as getting caught without your pants-especially this time of year!
