Hell no! Now since Christmas is the holiest day of the year for christians, they need their time off from work to be with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. If the government stopped that holiday, there would probably be a riot. But some people have to work on Christmas if you're a security guard, a police officer, fireman, work in a hospital, etc.
Now some companies give employees a few days off for Christmas or other major holiday's. But others you have to be back to work the next day. So those other companies might stop giving the extra days off, but Christmas and other major holidays can't be stopped.

you've got to be kidding. Christmas in America is really no longer about Christmas. It is a "retail holiday". It is about the money. There is no way the retailers of America will ever allow it to be wiped out.
