Solve the inequality:
6(x + 2) > 2 + 8(x + 1)

Out of 100 question Ionly needed help with about 10! NOT bad, thanks to everyone who has helped me!

okay so i have been out of school for like 3 years but i though i would test my brain..here is what i got...sorry if it wrong and least i tried :)

6(x+2) is greater than 2+8(x+1)
6x +12 is greater than 2+8x+8
divide both sides by 6x
12 greater than 10+2x
subtract 10 from both sides
2 greater than 2x
divide by 2
1 is greater than x

6x + 12 > 8x + 10
-2x > -2
x < 1
