Your computer will handle probably up to the 127 Gb limit for the ATA IDE interface but your computer is at the age of deciding if you are spending more on the machine then it is worth. Take a stroll through ebay.com desktop pc listing... don't mess with the auctions go through the "buy it now" listings to get an idea of what yours is worth and what the price of a new hard drive could buy you in a "newer to you" computer would cost.

recommended up to 20GB, but you can add up to 80GB, depends on the RAM, upgrade the RAM to 128 or 256.
