Depends on where you are coming from. You can catch a cheap mini-van ride for ~$10-20 from either Cairo to Dahab or Taba (border crossing). There's also a mini-buses up and down the sinai coast as well as from Mt.Sinai.

There's probably only one or two going each day so its best to ask around. I'd recommend calling the local hostel in Dahab to find out times.

if u r any where out of Saini then u r going 2 take the tunel in Suize city and then u have 2 options (1)2 take the Sharm ElShiek way and after Sharm 100kms is dahab (2) 2 TAKE THE Noweiba way and it's 70kms south 2 reach Dahab

Any wheels, the road sceenery is great. Enjoy and don't get tooo high.
