Spotting is insanely common and perfectly normal. It doesnt effect the pregnancy.

Period like bleed and the passing of clots usually does indicate problems or miscarriage.

Lots of women spot during early pregnancy, It's normal as long as it is not like a period, bright red or comes with bad cramps. I have a friend who actually had her period for 5 months of her pregnancy, her kids were born healthy and normal. Don't worry unless you start cramping really bad or any of the above that i mentioned. Good luck to you and congrats.

I never did, but my sister did. Completely healthy baby, and she's adorable to boot!

It is normal for some spotting in early pregnancy, but it's nothing to ignore. Call your OBGYN. If she's not concerned, then I would wait until your next appointment, but DO have it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

This actually happens quite frequently. Was there cramping included with the spotting??

Just to be safe, I would talk to your doctor. You never know what is going on that early in pregnancy!

yes I did the doctor said I had some kinda bruise and that is what made me spot. That can be normal in the early stages of pregnancy.

It has happened to a friend of mine and she had a very healthy baby. But to be safe I would call your doctor and see what he or she says to do. Good Luck
