Are we winding everyone up tonight Zulu?
Each of them are there own Nations highest award for bravery,
Victoria Cross - British and Commonwealth
Medal of Honour - American
Iron Cross - Germany
Croix de Guerre - France
I suspect your right, anybody answering that is from those countries is probably going to vote for their respective medal, but I would still put the Victoria Cross as number 1, as it is such a hard earned medal, a large majority of them are handed out posthumously i.e. your dead, they were one of the first medals given out to all ranks, and they only have enough gun metal to make around 70+ more medals, Queen Victoria held a special interest in the medal as she herself commissioned it, and made it special as she insisted if at all possible to hand out the medals personally.
I will probably get a few thumbs down for suggesting this but I think maybe next would be the version of the Iron Cross you have put, it was put in to being by Hitler if you had already received every other Iron Cross going this medal was awarded as an accumulated award of 4 or more brave act worthy of an Iron Cross 1st class.
After that I'm afraid I'm not that aware of the other two but would probably put the French one next followed by the Medal of Honour, as the French probably hand there one out as rarely as we do, but the Americans well, could be more a political tool these days...

the V.C. is the most important, because so few have been awarded in its history. also because it's British. The American CMOH, well they give out medals in the American Forces just for flying over a war zone, so whoopee to that. the Iron Cross comes next then the Croix de Guerre is last, because are there any French war heroes?

They tend to do the same things with countries, "never heard of it, oh well it can't be important then".
Don't know where she gets the idea that no.4 is French. LOL.

They are all equal in value. They are the highest award for gallentry that a soldier can win. 1. England (UK) 2. USA 3 Germany 4 France.

There is no order of importance here.....each of the medals is that particular countries medal for "acts of heroism or bravery"
VC is from UK
CMoH is from USA
IC is from Germany
CG is from Belgium & France
