The long term usage of narcotics have many lasting effects on the body.
The hormones responsible for producing seman and sperm are manufactured and released by glands near the brain. The chemicals and hormones are part of a cycle, and that cycle needed for this production can be seriously ruined by long term usage.
Much like some users end up with brain damage, insanity, and other mental problems caused by chemical imbalance, some have long term physical ailments, cardiovascular problems and organ failure.
Decreased seman production and loss of sperm motility is possible.

Yep any drug can do that. Depends on how much they did in the past. My husband used to be a druggie. He's been clean for over 3 years. I am pregnant now. So I think it just depends on how much they used and what type and all sorts of things.

It depends on if he is still using. It may have affected his fertility. Since man produce sperm daily usually when they stop using a drug it will clean out of their system and they will produce all new sperm. If you are really concerned you could have a sperm count done to see if he is producing enough and if they are shaped correctly. As far as genetic abnormalities, I would discuss that with a physician

Yes, in the short term it definitely will.
Sperm take about 4 months to fully form. He should totally lay off all drugs for 4 months before you plan on conceiving.
Healthy sperm and healthy eggs = healthy babies!

They "say" it can but they do not know anything. They say alot of things. I pesonally have never known of a drug addict who was infertile. If anything it was the exact opposite, can and do get pregnant on a dime with whatever drug addicted ___ they sleep with. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, just not in any of the personal experiences i have had.

It not only affect the chances of conceiving, it can carry the risk of serious deformities in the baby! I would suggest he stops for at least a year before you try!!

4 circumstances in 3 months, I doubt it. in case you have been greater of a accepted person, it would have undesirable effects on the infant. rather, I dont think of there could be any matters in any respect with that.
