Anybody think i could make a bolt go around a person inspace if there was nothing else with a larger gravatational pull ,then the person, around the perosn.

Yes. Actually, we all have some gravitational pull. Any and all objects with mass have traces of gravitation. The only reason no human has a gravitational orbit is because we are just not big enough. Take planets, for example. The more mass something has, the more gravitational pull it posesses. Hope this 8th grader could help!

Anything can be in orbit. Gravity accelerates things at the same rate no matter what their mass. Technically we all are in orbit since we orbit the sun once a year.

Absolutely! there are plenty of smaller things in orbit around the earth. Nuts and bolts and gloves and what not. Norad keeps track of all of it.

Yes, that is.. possible.

You'd need to be pretty far out there, so your gravitational field isn't over taken by much more massive objects. If you get in a gravitational tug of war over a satelite with Jupiter, Jupiter's gonna win.

The object would need to be pretty tiny, too.

Anything with mass can, in the right circumstances, have an object in orbit around it.
