You would be wise to contact gunsmiths in your area and ask them when would a good time be to talk with them and the go and talk with them and they will be able to tell you how to go about doing finding an apprenticeship.... also try phoning the Sporting Shooters Association Of Australia they will know the local gunsmiths..

I entered "Gunsmithing apprenticeship in Victoria" and got 532 web sites. be more specific of location to narrow sites...

The only gunsmithing school I know of is in Colorado. It's a community college.
