I'm another Pittsburgh guy.
I love the city, it has great entertainment, from great pro and college sports to a world class symphony, 4 museums, a ton of great colleges, great shopping options from the suburban malls to the trendy shops of the South Side (and more recently the Lawrenceville section of the city)
The people are great, down to earth, folks who still have a blue collar mentality. Even though the economy is focused now on financial services and high tech firms. Most of the people here are from here, it gives the area a sort of continuity that is lacking in many major cities where the populations are so transient.
4 season climate with a not too harsh (usually) winter and a not too hot (usually) summer
There really is something here for everyone. I love the city, I've lived a few other places, but to me, nowhere else is Pittsburgh.
Pennsylvania, on the other hand, is hit and miss for me. I think our state government is somewhat corrupt, and that there isn't enough focus at the state level on education. Also, while the rural/urban blend that Pennsylvania has is great for recreation, I think at times it is bad for the state's future. The opposing views tend to make politics too dicey for any rel progress to happen for either side. That is a somewhat unique problem, because Pennsylvania is the rare type of state where the population is split about equally between the urban and rural areas of the state.
So, I love Pittsburgh, but I think Pennsylvania needs some help.

San Anselmo, CA near San Francisco.
The modern urban lifestyle is too fast and nerve wracking.
I hope someday to live nearby in coastal No Cal in a more rural area, slower, more connected to the land.

I live in Firestone Colorado. I love it here. We are north of Denver enough to be quite, but still close to everything and the mountains for the skiing!

Yes, very much. Its a semi-small town with lots of friendly people nestled in the mountains of Tennessee.
