Take the test. If it returns positive, your pregnant. Most pegnacy test come with more than one test. Take one now, if it comes back negative, wait a day or two and try again.

Good luck.

Pregnancy tests can detect HCG hormone at the first sign of a missed period so I woul advise you to take a pregnancy test. If it comes back negative I would wait a week. Sometimes your period cycle can change as you get older, mine did and boy did it worry me cause my tubes are tied. So it could just be that. But if it doesn't start within a week I would go see your doctor. They can do other tests to see why it hasn't come yet.

Also, have you been under a lot of stress? If so that can cause changes in your menstraul cycle.

The urine attempt and the serum attempt the two will happen bearing directly to the same time. My physician has instructed me to take the at domicile tests first so i don't waste the money getting the serum tests executed unnecissarily, because of the fact the serum attempt does not happen any in the previous. If there's a extreme suspicion, pass to the ob/gyn and have them do a attempt. My PCP does a serum attempt, my OB sends me to the well-being center for a serum attempt, yet i understand the medical institution and a few different OB's do urine tests interior the workplace. the super distinction is that occassionaly they have an concept how far alongside you're by using the hormone stages interior the bloodstream. good success!

The chance of you being pregnant from sex on the day your period was due are very slim to almost nonexistent. That having been said, the modern test are so sophisticated the pregnancy hormones can be detected from the first day after the missed period.

In order for you to get pregnant you need to have had sex around the middle of your cycle or just before. You ovulate around the middle of the cycle and once released your egg only remains viable for fertilisation for 12-24 hours.

You cannot get pregnant by havng sex th day your period is due.

Lots of things can make your period late (including worry and stress). If you did have sex around your fertile time then you should take a pregnancy test, if not, then don't worry.

You can take some pregnancy tests a day before you period is due!! I would get a home pregnancy test, clearblue is good and just do it if the result is negative wait a week and do it again. If its positive go doctors who will confirm it. Good luck x

I have been pregnant three times. Buy a two pack, if it is negative with your first pee in the morning, then you probably aren't pregnant. But you will have a 2nd test to take if you are still late in a week or so.

Pregnancy is always a possibility when you have sex.
However, you could just be stressing yourself out over it, which could've caused your period not to come on time.
Don't worry about it for another week or so and then take a pregnancy test.

I'm not a doctor - but I suggest going to or calling Planned Parenthood and asking them. It's completely confidential and they'll give you a professional pregnancy test
