Understanding the concept "soulmate". Yahooooo... things really are made in heaven!
Yes, every single individual living on Mother Earth has a partner in hiding... a soul mate that would practically match hundred percent with one! This has been a saying by people falling in love now and always. But this is also the truth. God made the destiny of mankind like that.
Suppose I am a boy born at number 43.045230345 (on the scale of hundred) amongst the billions of people living on Mother Earth. Then in all eventualities there would be many girls born at number 43. Whether I get to love and marry the girl of my choice is purely dependent upon my destiny which is a controversial subject (one can always take control of ones destiny if we truly desire so)!
Now, how do I find all girls at number 43...? This is where we falter... the numbering system of God being hidden from mankind... it becomes difficult to find the soul mate matching our choice and results in divorces, the divorce rate being abnormally high.
In the present materialistic trend one weighs the other from his finances, the bank balance, looks and alike. In the domain of God if we really want to search our soul mate... it may be hidden in the ugly frog for God may have cast a spell on it and unable to recognize one we marry the wrong girl! This is the irony of fate of most people the world over.
Those who can hear the sweet small voice coming from their heart... the voice of our soul (atman in Hinduism) such truthful people sometimes are able to recognize their soul mate. And it is then we learn that a Mira Bai has been born. Mira Bai was a faithful follower and lover of Lord Krishna even though Lord Krishna was married and had a wife.
The love of Mira Bai for Lord Krishna was unparalleled. It was much above the physical inhibitions expressed nowadays. For Mira Bai... sex had no role to play in the love she had for Lord Krishna. This is what pure love is all about! More on soul mate here- http://www.godrealized.org/truce_with_my_inner_self.html

There are several viewpoints as to how to describe "soul mates" ... even on how to spell it! The soul mate could be a friend, business partner, parent, child, sibling, spouse or other family member. These soul mates can be of the same or opposite sex.
Some researchers don't believe a soul mate is the ideal or one and only person in someone's life. Their definition of soul mates are people who together want to work on making their marriage or relation a great one. Their relationship feels like a natural fit, and although they need to work on their marriage or relation, it is not hard to do. When soul mates first meet, there is an immediate sense of being at ease and connected.

No we don't all find our soul mates. We all settle too quickly for the first one that comes along, thinking we will obviously be alone all our lives. Those of us who wait, are only saddened to find our soul mate didn't, and has two kids form a jerk husband that doesn't have a job. Once in a while you hear about someone who demanded only that perfect person and waited, finding that special one who had also waited. Each are financially set due to the fact they waited, now they are very well off indeed. Wish that fairy tale was about me, but I didn't wait, Got a divorce and found her the next time around. Now we have a Brady bunch of kids, and are only upper middle class because of our initial choices.

I'm not sure of the actually soul mate...but I think there is definately a love of one's life. I really never believed it until I met my wife but have found that through all the good and bad my love for her has remained constant and unwavered. The last couple years I've seen a definite change in her and often wonder if I am her one true love, but even through that I know that she is still mine!! So yes they do exist...but I also believe that a person can find another true love....
I think you know you've found the one when no matter what, good or bad, you choose to remain loyal to a person even if they are not so great to you, and you still love them unconditionally.

Soul mates. There are also groups known as soul groups or soul families. I do believe there are soul mates. I was married 20 + years, now peacefully divorced 4 yrs . . . was he my ' soul mate "? I feel he and I were meant to share on each others path the time we did, events happened, we moved on out of each others life and are no longer lovers. I feel that there is my soul mate still out there... I sense it. The knowing of a soul mate is the feeling that awakens your entire being...meeting that one that hugs not only your body, but also your soul and cherishs your heart.

I believe that there is someone for everyone. We don't always find them in "this life." When you find your soul mate you will know in your heart. Your heart will tell you all the answers when you truly ask.

no i don't. human beings purely happen to love one yet another and that they had have purely as in all likelihood enjoyed somebody else with the same features. that's what i think of a minimum of... properly, not all of us is this variety, yet i'm specific maximum human beings of the international is, and that makes it fake that soul friends surely exists because of the fact we'd all have one if there have been temporarily, i don't have confidence in love.

You will just know right away, when you can share absolutely everything and not have fear of being judged. I honestly feel that is a big part of it...
