I had the best weekend in the world and a rather good Sunday also. Lets spread some joyousness and tell each other the reasons we are all happy!
I went to a party, had a great laugh, ate some great food, saw my family, enjoyed watching some good football etc etc

Hi mrben! How refreshing you are. & I'm happy for YOU. Me? I've so far (it's about 3p) had at least ten laughs, got a CD in Sat. mail I've been wanting forever--sender unknown!--watched the gulls antic choreographed activity over a lake like green pea soup while listening to the rain, grilled a yummy streak with compound butter, & stuffed portobello mushrooms w/shrimp etc., played tag with my beautiful cat, got a great call from an old friend in Canada, (I'm in California), planning a special dinner for Monday with a special friend, got invited to Niles for prime rib (& much more) plus Christmas festivities with my best friend, her daughter & daughter's boyfriend, watched dozens of Canadian geese flying from the sunrise, necks long black arrows & close enough to see their eyes--awesome. Now, if anyone says that's "boring" I'll put a huge POX on them. I'm glad you had such a wonderful time. Some of the answers were REALLY losers, probably just jealous because they haven't got a life. (Do they subtract points when I use thumbs down??) (I don't really care!)
Thanks for sharing. People like you are NEEDED with all the Grinches that seem to be on lately grousing about Christmas.

I think there should be more people like you. The TV news and newspapers spend too much time dwelling on the negative it makes you feel like giving up. It is wonderful to hear that people are enjoying their life.
I am happy because I also saw family this w/end ( a rarity as I live in a different country) and I got a bag of choclates I love and can't get where I live - simple things but good ones.
Hope your next weekend is as good as this one.

I can't say I had an especially happy weekend, I argued with my bloke on Friday and woke up with flu on Saturday. I did drag myself to a party though and met some nice people. My boyfriend called me and we made up. He also has the flu now but we hope to meet up and make up properly tomorrow - should be fun in our fluey state :-) As for food I had the most delicious truffle pasta, and ate properly for the first time in a week.
I'm very glad for you and hope that this happiness carries on into your week.

You know, they have places for people like you. Generally the walls are of a soft, spongy material & the dress code calls for a brilliant white shirt that keeps the arms tied close to the body.

I worked! All weekend, yesterday was a great shift though, today was awful. Spent a bit of time with the man I love and my beautiful daughter.........
Thats good enough for me, I am content........
