Can I get a laptop which has intel centrino ,12 inch screen,512 RAM,80 GB HDD and 1.60 Mhz. Under £500

Tesco stores have the Acer ones with all the spec you want and more for under £500 xx

No Tesco DO NOT do this for £500, the above didn't read the spec fully.
Yes, you can get the RAM and HDD and a Celeron processor for £500, but NOT 'intel centrino', not for £500.00
But ask yourself, this, why to do you want duo processors anyway?

However, this DOES NOT include an operating system, when you add XP Home, it's over £500 I'm afraid, but only just (£526).

I brought direct from Acer 100GB intel centrino, vista capable, 1GB DDR2 model 5610 does everything I want and more. Lots of choice on web site good support they also have retail outlets so check it out. The company has a good write up in PC mags and seems very efficient. Good luck

I doubt it. It seems such as you like some thing like a Sony Vaio AR21s or m computer yet at £1400 to £1700 sounds like wishful questioning. I doubt you will get suitable of the variety for the quantity of funds your asking.
