Dosomething you are really good @ eg: bake and sell the stuff or offer a service you are really good at. Ask local churches and have proof if you want to go there ( pics, etc. ) or go talk to the pastors individually and ask them. Try Legal Aid first or call a reputable lawyer adn ask them would they like to do a "pro bono" case ( free) which they can "write off" on their taxes. Get a panhandlers license and stand on the strret corners or in the middle of the road ( median) and hold up money collecting bins have a pic of your son abused or paperwork and see. Set up a website on the internet soliciting donations but have very informative info. on there about child abuse piccs etc. send a forward e-mail and ask for people to donate money (at least a $1)and ask them to forward it to everyone they know like a chain letter. Start w/ this site. Set up a p.o. box though to receive the funds or a charitable bank acct. ( ask a reputable bank to set up an acct.) b/c there are some crazies out there, you don't want them w/ your address. Run an add in the local paper which asks for help for the holidays and explain the situation and ask for monetary assistance.

You have a few choices go to the family and ask for help. Some lawers will work out payment arrangements with ya, Or if you have proof then call the child hot line on her. But first show your proof. If the kids are in school here where I live the child hot line people will visit the kids at school. If they can prove abuse then you will more likely get custody of the son. Might wanna check at the city hall every State verys on this if the child is old enough he can go in front of the judge and tell the judge who he wants to live with. The judge normally grants it if a good reason. Good luck

Contact your states legal aid assoc.for free help or advice. Contact your local police if your son is really being abused, physically or mentally, as you will need concrete evidence of such in court for your custody battle and any police reports or medical reports will help. Now if youre going on hearsay and have no actual proof that the abuse is actually happening, then forget it as it will backfire on you in court as the court hate hearsay. So if it is really happening quit wasting time and notify the police immediately and get the reports started and child services will investigate any child abuse and will take the child into protective custody if abuse is severe enough til court decides on custody after weighing all evidence. Good luck

Depending on the state you live in, but most states have similar policies. If you child is being abused contact child protective services, an investigation will take place and if it is found that your child is in harms way, he will be removed from that situation and since you are the other biological parent, you are the first to be contacted for him to be taken to. At that point, the case would be taken to court and you can apply for permanant custody then.

You need proof first that he is being abused before you try to pin that one on your ex. You may have to get the child examined to see if the alligation is true.

you could turn your ex-spouse in to DHS or Child protection services and they may be able to help you get custody....also legal aid if you qualify.
