Asexual reproduction doesn't require a mate, a true bonus for species who for one reason or another don't congregate. Serxual reproduction introduces new genes often producing better offspring. (and I hear it's way more fun)

365 days 13 biology absolutely everyone? Ur taking me decrease back slightly right here yet I do save in ideas one element. Sexual reproduction enables survivial of the species because you get style interior the offspring. this permits particular genetic features to be taken on board to in nice condition modern situations. in case you want, survival of the fittest, the species improves. as an social gathering, if there are particular uhm cats with thicker coats and its truly chilly, the offspring with thicker coats are more advantageous probably to outlive than those with thinner coats- and hence there'll be a replace interior the breed of cats- they're more advantageous probably to become a thick lined species. In asexual reproduction there's no style, so the species is both a fulfillment or bypass over, it cant adapt. Did that make any experience, sorry its bin 3 years and it replaced into my least fav difficulty!

Asexual reproduction creates a clone of the orgaism and only needs one parrent sexual reproduction obviously needs two, asexual reproducetion is quicker but because they are genetically similar a disesase could wipe out the entire species. Sexual reproduction causes gentetic variation and helps the species to survive I think.

Advantage of asexual reproduction
- fast; no need to find a mate
- no risk of genetic problems in offspring
Advantage of sexual reproduction
- genetic variance; so a better chance for offspring to survive. For example, If a fire resistant mouse mate with a water resistant mouse and produces some offspring that are fire resistant and some that are water resistant, then come whichever disaster, half of the offspring will survive. (But if a fire-resistant mouse reproduces asexually, all of its offspring will die if there's a flood)

In asexual reproduction, organisms use less energy and can produce more offspring in a shorter amount of time. They don't need a mate 2 reproduce.
In sexual reproduction, offspring have more genetic diversity and can survive in diffrnt environments. Hope that helped.

An advantage of asexual reproduction over sexual is that it is very efficient--you don't have to wait around to find a mate, so you can make lots of babies very quickly!!
An advantage of sexual reproduction is that it provides genetic variation--that is, genetic recombination occurs so that the offspring will be varied in phenotype (physical traits). This means they can respond better to environmental change.
So say you are a bug that likes to like at 60 deg. f weather, and it's 60 degrees out:
~You might want to do asexual reproduction to get lots of members of your species born
If the temperature starts dropping
~You might want to do sexual reproduction: one of your children might be very happy at 50 deg, even though that temperature might have killed you.
Hope that helps!

In asexual reproduction only one organism is needed. However, the offspring are identical to the parent because there is no mixing of genes. Sexual reproduction results in offspring that are different from the parents because genes are mixed.

asexual has an advantage because you don't need a partner. this is good when the species are scarce. this happens in lower cases of animals. sexual has advantages because the mix between the 2 partners increases the chance for advancement and changes that help animals to adapt to changing environments. It also strengthens the genes(survival of the fittest and all that).

Asexual reproduction allows even profoundly ugly organisms to reproduce without having to get someone drunk.
Sexual reproduction is overrated, but PRACTICING sexual reproduction with the right partner rocks.

Easier. You don't need to have a mate with asexual. However, with sexual reproduction you get more variety.
