I have found a great site with free WAV files to download. Are WAV files safe or does it depend on the site?

Wav files can carry virus in them too regardless of the site. You need to have the files scan by a antivirus scanner before even using them.

they are safe go ahead

anyway for more security ill advice u to use Firefox not IE, because usually free websites download ads with their contents and FF is the best solution
