I haven't had my period for 2 months, all the pregnancy tests were negative, my cycle is usually 26 days, and I was supposed to ovulate on the 14th, I took a $ tree ovulation predictor, and it said "No LH surge" so I am not ovulating at all....? what could be the cause of this, and can I still get pregnant on the 14th?

I read on a few sites that stress can prevent ovulation. It sounds like you need to relax and try to let things happen naturally - I know it's hard because I'm trying to do the same thing. Put your money that you would be spending on ovulation kits towards your baby's first blanket....something maybe to give you hope, rather than getting depressed about the negative results! Good luck to you! Baby dust is coming your way! ;)

Stopping Ovulation

It is very possible to stop ovulating. Sometimes it may be due to stress, diet, weight loss, too much exercise, hormones or there could be health issues that my effect ovulation. I would see a physic an to see if you can pinpoint the problem. Then again it may fix it's self in a few months. I was not ovulating and I was put on Provera to jump start my cycle. It worked. I was pg that month. Good luck PS. If the ovulation prediction kit was right I would say no not this month. If for some reason You did not test for the surge at the right time and you had unprotected sex it would be possible.

Can you stop ovulating? Sure. That's what the birth control pill does; it stops ovulation. There are lots of other reasons to stop ovulating, too, but none of us here on Yahoo! Answers can tell you why YOU'RE not. Only your doctor can help you with that one.

As for whether or not you can get pregnant, if you DO ovulate, then yes. You may not be ovulating, you may not be ovulating regularly, and you may just not be able to tell when you are. But if there's an egg, there's always a possibility of getting pregnant.

I wouldn't, however, bet the farm on getting pregnant on the 14th. Sounds like your cycle is off, for whatever reason, and predicting ovulation is going to be tough.

But instead of bumming out about that, just remember that you might have ovulated early, or you might be ovulating late. So have fun trying, and you might be pleasantly surprised?

All of these answers are very good. Another good tip is to not use Dollar Tree pregnancy tests or ovulation predicting kits, because they're cheap, in both cost and quality.
