ok, you press Ctrl, Shift and C at the same time, then you type motherlode, and then press enter. This will give you $50,000. Do this repeadently to get more.

If you just have the Sims 2 base game you
can use :
Ctrl+Shift+c in that box type:motherlode
that will give you 50,000 $, but you can keep repeating motherlode over and over until you reach the amount you want.
IF you have Nightlife expansion pack and any other expansion pack after Nightlife installed you can use:
Ctrl+Shift+c and type in the box familyfunds NAME $$$$..so say your family name is Jones, and you want them to have 3,000,000 you would type it like this: familyfunds JONES 3000000. it is case sensitive so like all cheats make sure ur spelling it rite , putting spaces where needed and so on. Have fun!

There's two cheats. Open up the cheat window in a lot occupied by a family by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C (at the same time).
Type in 'kaching' for 1000 simoleons.
Type in 'Motherlode' for 50,000 simoleons.

i dont know about the Sims 2 but to the Sims you press all back buttons at the same time on your controller and a box will pop up just use this word: "freeall"
you never know that might match with the Sims 2 too!

The code is motherload but i cant remember the buttons u have to press to open the console.

What you have to do is first press "ctrl shift c" all at once to get the cheat bar up. Once it is up type in "motherlode" to get 50,000 simoleons! Enjoy!

hold cntrl...tap C....when the cheat box comes up..on the upper left....type in rosebud press enter
